Chamonix pictures
Just a few pictures of Chamonix to get an impression Yes, I know the church is turned sideways, but I can't turn it around in blogger: 
The waffles tasted great
The busoffice is rather pittoresque
And ofcourse, lovely surroundings
A little bar that is only open in summer unfortunately. The train up to Montevers
and the big snow plough they had up there
Last: one of the stuffed animals from the Fauna Museum up there

OOh - where did you stand to get the pic of the train? I was looking for an angle like that and couldn't find one!
And when did you get waffles?! I missed out on waffles!
From the pictures, it looks like the snow was actually quite plenty...
